Mycorrhizal Fungi Inoculant
BioSorbex is based on the profound symbiotic interaction that evolved between mycorrhizal fungi and the plant's roots, in which a nutrient exchange phenomenon ocurrs. The plant has the ability to produce carbohidrates through photosyntesis, but the nutrient absortion is limited to the lenght and growth rate of it's radicular system (roots). The fungi is unable to produce it's own carbohidrates, but has a very eficient nutrient absortion ability due to the high growth rate and long reach in the soil. The plant delivers carbohidrates to the fungi and, in return, the fungi delivers nutrients that it extracts from the soil that, with no mycorrhizae, would have been unreacheable for the plant. It's used in most crops, in diferent development stages.
